Abba's Love

Churches all over the world pray the Lord's Prayer every week.  The prayer begins by saying, 'Our Father, who art in heaven.'  Abba is Hebrew for father.  We believe that the Heavenly Father wants to show His love to those with special needs and their families.

As a believer in Christ, We have continued to take my family of six to Church. This often has been difficult because of the needs of our son, who has non-verbal Autism.  I have served as a Pastor and also as a member of several congregations.  We have had many times where we have not been able to fellowship or even participate in Sunday morning services.  We desire to help all churches serve those with special needs and their families so that this special population of the Church can also be ministered to during their church services.

We are providing Special Needs Ministry Starter kits to churches to help them to begin their own ministries to children with special needs within their churches. We are located in the Pacific Northwest and will hand-deliver to Churches within arm's reach of us in Oregon and Washington State. Let us know if you are requesting a bag for your church. We desire to serve as many churches as possible. Within each bag, we also include ministry plan ideas, specifically, what is included are ideas regarding the special needs room, staffing, and supplies that would be needed.

If you are interested in giving to our ministry, each bag and its contents cost upwards of $100 to assemble, plus another $50 of postage per bag to send to churches.  We pray that you would consider partnering with us to help include those with special needs in churches. Specifically, we rely upon the donations to purchase the bags, sensory supplies, and postage as needed.  We want to see Jesus reflected to all who have special needs in the church. 

Families with special needs children often face overwhelming loneliness and isolation. This sort of ministry enables families to attend church who are normally unable to come and be a part of their local congregation.
